Mobility Dealer Partnership
The Motability Scheme enables disabled people to exchange either their Higher Rate Mobility Component of Disability Living Allowance or their War Pensioners' Mobility Supplement to obtain a powered wheelchair or scooter.

Through Motability, you simply turn part, or all, of your allowance into the scooter or powered wheelchair of your choice. To find out if you are eligible, and which allowances are used, have a look at our 'Who can use the Motability Scheme' pages.

  • Parents can apply on behalf of a child who receives the allowance, but please speak to your dealer, as some products may not be suitable for all ages.
  • Only the person in receipt of the allowance can use the scooter or powered wheelchair. It should not be used, for example, by your partner or spouse.
